Find answers to common questions about therapy and how we work.
Therapy is a conversation between you and a trained psychologist. We listen, ask questions, and help you understand what's happening. Over time, you develop new ways of thinking and coping that actually stick.
It depends on what you're working through. Some people see real progress in a few sessions. Others benefit from longer-term support. We'll be honest about what will help you.
Yes. We offer both in-person and online sessions. You choose what works best for your life and your comfort level.
Our fees are transparent and competitive. Many people are eligible for Medicare rebates. See our Fees and Rebates page for full details, or call us to discuss your specific situation.
Yes. We work with children, teenagers and young people up to the age of 25. Visit our Children and Young People page to learn more.
A GP referral isn't required to see us, though some people use one for Medicare rebates. Call us and we'll explain your options based on your situation.
Most people are nervous before their first session — that's normal. We create a safe space where you can be honest. Many people say the hardest part is making the call.
What you share in therapy stays between us. There are rare exceptions where we are legally required to report, but we will always be clear about those exceptions upfront.
We'll talk about it. Sometimes it takes two to three sessions to find the right fit. If we're not the right fit, we'll help you find someone who is.
We're small, experienced and genuinely interested in your well being. You're not a case number here. Angelique and her team know what they are doing and they care about getting it right.
Get in touch, we're happy to talk through anything before you commit.
